Devices on X-Ray

X-Ray chest AP View

X-Rays with Pacemaker and ICD devices are fairly common in Cardiology practice and are very useful as well. They are most commonly done for looking at lead positions and ruling out complications.

This is a similar X-Ray with a device visible in the infraclavicular region. There is also an RV pacing lead and an RA pacing lead. Then there is a third Left Ventricular (Epicardial) Lead. This is a CRT Device. The LV Lead is Quadripolar and inserted through the Coronary sinus into the cardiac veins.
